Good morning and welcome to today’s daily devotion. Today’s topic is based on Mark 16:15 which states, “And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.”
In this verse, Jesus commands his disciples to go out into the world and share the good news of the gospel with everyone they meet. This command is not limited to just the disciples, but applies to all believers today. As followers of Christ, we are called to share the message of salvation with everyone we come into contact with.
This can seem like a daunting task, but we can take comfort in the fact that we are not alone. The Holy Spirit is with us, empowering and guiding us as we share the gospel. We can also take comfort in the fact that God’s Word never returns void, and that even if we don’t see the results of our efforts, we can trust that God is working in the hearts of those we speak to.
As we go about our day, let us be mindful of the opportunities we have to share the gospel with those around us. Let us pray for boldness and courage to speak truth with love, and for open hearts and receptive ears among those who hear.
Let us pray: Dear Lord, we thank you for the gift of salvation through Jesus Christ. We pray that you would give us the courage and boldness to share the gospel with those around us. Help us to be mindful of the opportunities we have to speak truth with love, and to be sensitive to the leading of the Holy Spirit. We pray for open hearts and receptive ears among those who hear the message, and that your Word would bear fruit in their lives. We ask all these things in Jesus’ name, Amen.
