In our journey with God we must make sacrifices, a sacrifice must also cost you something. In the bible there are several instances of people who gained favor from God by making sacrifices we have examples like Abel, Abraham, Hannah and many more. God also showed his love for us by sacrificing his only begotten son Jesus to die for our sins so that we can be saved through grace, therefore its important to make sacrifices to show our dedication and submission to God almighty.
